Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers according to § 13 BGB via the online shop https://loadbike.com/gb/. The sales are exclusively for used cargo bikes.

2. Contracting Party

3. Offer and Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products on the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order. By submitting the order, you make a binding offer to purchase the selected product. The contract is concluded once we confirm your order via email or have shipped the product to you.

4. Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices are final prices and include the statutory value-added tax. Standard shipping within Europe is free of charge. For express shipping, we charge €50.

5. Payment

Payment is made via SEPA bank transfer or SEPA Instant (real-time transfer). The goods will be shipped upon receipt of payment.

6. Delivery

Shipping takes place within 5–8 working days (standard shipping) or 2–4 working days (express shipping), unless otherwise agreed.

7. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period starts upon receipt of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, it is sufficient to send us a clear statement (e.g., via email).

In case of withdrawal, we will provide you with a free return label. The return shipment is free of charge for you.

8. Warranty

Even though the bikes are used, we offer a voluntary 2-year warranty from the date of delivery on the following components:

  • Motor
  • Battery

The warranty is valid only with proper use and excludes wear parts and improper handling.

9. Retention of Title

The goods remain our property until full payment is made.

10. Liability

We are only liable for damages caused by slight negligence in case of a breach of essential contractual obligations. In this case, liability is limited to foreseeable damages.

11. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Final Provisions

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be wholly or partially ineffective, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
